Getting to and from Compass is going to be a little more challenging in the months to come. We will do our best to keep you updated with these changes so you are not surprised on your route to Compass. If you have experienced travel related issues coming to or leaving Compass please let us know so that we can inform others.
Indianapolis Department of Public works announced that the College bridge over Fall Creek will close for 60 days starting on September 17th. Unfortunately the Central Bridge is still closed and will re-open behind schedule and will not see traffic until Spring of 2019.
The good news is that the Citizen’s Energy Group Meridian street project will open ahead of schedule on September 17th.
So, we’re losing the College avenue bridge at Fall Creek, but getting Meridian street back.
If you are coming to Compass from downtown we would recommend taking Meridian and turning at 54th. You can access our parking lot by turning left into our parking lot in the alley just before Cornerstone Coffee. This will likely be the desired route as the Red Line construction begins on College ave.
There will be Red Line construction effecting the southern eastbound lane on 38th for seven days starting August 23rd. As far as I can tell this will not affect traffic on Meridian.
