Listening
As a Broad Ripple Chiropractor, we take pride in being a integral part of our community. The very first step in the healing process is listening. The majority of a patient’s diagnosis can be found in the patient history. Once we have a good understanding of your history we use our orthopedic tests to rule out any contraindications to providing chiropractic care. Once we have ruled out contraindications we will proceed with Functional Rehabilitation portion of our examination which includes computerized range of motion testing of the spine and extremities, muscle length testing and movement analysis.
Examination
We pride ourselves on our thorough and details examination process. The initial part of the examination involves determining what part of the body is responsible for the symptoms. The next part of the exam is determining the underlying cause. Often times the underlying cause is not what is symptomatic, which can make it more complicated to discover.
Treatment
As a Broad Ripple Chiropractor, we provide treatment just south of the village. We have a number of different types of treatments that we offer to make sure we’re able to address the needs of our patient population. We provide manual chiropractic adjustments along with light force chiropractic adjustments. Both of these techniques are effective, it depends on your personal preference. In addition to the Chiropractic adjustments we provide Functional Rehabilitation, massage therapy, posture analysis, gait analysis, Therapeutic modalities, IASTM, Kinesiotape, cupping, Normatec recovery and more.
Education
Your return to health and wellness doesn’t stop with the treatment, it is actually only the beginning. In order for you to reach your goals, it is important for you to understand what caused your problem and more importantly, what you can do to prevent a reoccurrence. This might include stretches, exercise, ergonomics and other lifestyle modifications. We also know that you’re going to forget a lot of what we teach you when you’re in the office. This is why we use the HealthCom app where we put videos of the exercises that we prescribe for reference. You have access to this app indefinitely.
