Every NFL team has a Chiropractor on staff and many NFL players credit Chiropractic for keeping them on the field. Jerry Rice is huge proponent of Chiropractic care as you can see in the second video.

Nick Ford has a great story to tell about determination.  The following video tells his story about a near death explosion that left him severely burned.  Despite this tragedy Nick came back to his marathon training and plans to run the Chicago Marathon on 10/10/10.  He will be running for the Livestrong team to raise money for cancer research.

Recently channel 13 news came to the office to do a story about inversion tables and how it compare to decompression therapy.  In this video I discuss the benefits of each and which condition is appropriate for each therapy.  This video was from a local channel here in Indianapolis discussing low back pain and decompression therapy.

Last night my wife asked me if I had read the article about chiropractic in new issue of Consumer Reports. At first I cringed, because the media hasn’t always been kind to chiropractors. Then she smiled and said, “I think you’re going to like it.”

Consumer reports published a new survey of back pain suffers in their May issue. The magazine surveyed 14,000 back pain suffers and asked them about their satisfaction with a variety of different health care treatments. The treatments listed in the survey were chiropractic, physical therapy, acupuncture, surgery and primary care physicians. Chiropractic had the highest percentage of responders who were “highly satisfied” with their results, 59% of those suffering from back pain were “highly satisfied” with chiropractic compared to 34% who went to their primary care physician.

This reports is exciting for the profession as it has been provided by a non-bias credible source. The people in this survey were everyday real people and not subjects in a controlled study. I am very excited to see this type of response to a survey of this magnitude.
